Trolley Museum in East Windsor Vandalized

An employee with the Trolley Museum in East Windsor tells NBC Connecticut that the museum was broken into early this morning.

Tim Lesniak says there is damage throughout the museum and damage amounts could exceed $4,000.00 after further assessments are completed.

Windows were smashed and money was taken from the cash register in the museum merchandise shop, Lesniak said.

Police arrived on the scene at 3am and left the museum at around 7am after investigating for several hours.

The East Windsor Police Department said they are not commenting on the investigation at this time.
