Two Arrested After Casino Brawl

Police arrested two men at Foxwoods Casino Sunday.

Two men were arrested after two brawls at Foxwoods Casino on Sunday, according to authorities.

Investigators said Wakyne Sebastian, 22, whose address is listed as the Mashantucket Tribal Reservation, and Macharia Johnson, 38, of Evertt, Massachusetts, were charged with breach of peace and interfering with police.

State police said they responded to a large brawl that spanned from the Shrine Night Club to the hotel lobby at MGM Grand Casino at Foxwoods at around 2:30 a.m. and found 80 to 100 people involved in the fight, police said.

However, officials from Shrine said there was no fight inside the nightclub. Shrine was closed half an hour before police responded and the fight started outside the club, between the door leading to the club and those leading outside, officials from Shrine said.

A short time later, another fight broke out, police said. It involved a knife and the same men from the first fight at Foxwoods Resort and Casino Grand Peqot, according to authorities.

Both men are due in court in December. More arrests are pending, police said.
