Arrests Made in String of Burglaries

East Hampton Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a string of home burglaries from last fall.

Police said the two are involved in 9 break-ins in the towns of East Hampton, Portland and Glastonbury.   Police said the arrests came after a search of the suspects' homes yielded 11 stolen guns and hundreds of other stolen items.

Nicholas Moore, 20, of Portland was arrested Friday, charged with burglary, larceny and theft of a firearm.  Moore was released on a $2,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned in Middlesex Superior Court on Feb. 10.  Sarah Gacioch, 20, of Portland, was arrested Sunday on larceny and conspiracy charges.  She was also released on a $2,000 bond and is due in court Feb. 10.

East Hampton Police have five separate arrest warrants out for Keith Bray, 22, of Portland, and Christopher Blauvelt, 23, of Portland.  They say they will be charged in connection with the burglaries as soon as they are located.
