A father and son were injured in an accidental shooting in Danbury Friday.
Gerald Palanzo Jr., 63, and Gerald Palanzo III, 25, were both shot when a 40 caliber handgun accidentally went off inside their home at 14 Ledgemere Drive just before noon, according to police.
The father was shot in the back, the son received a gunshot to the hand, police said.
Both victims were taken to Danbury Hospital.
Police are continuing their investigation.
