Two Men Accused of Cheating at Foxwoods Casino

The suspects were charged with running the same scam at Mohegan Sun in June

Two men arrested earlier this year on cheating allegations at the Mohegan Sun casino have been charged with carrying out the same scam at the Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Chaoyu Wu, 32, of Brooklyn, N.Y., and 39-year-old Tan Guo Yu of Boston were first arrested in June. At the time, police said one man distracted a dealer while the other swapped tiles to improve his hand in a game known as pai gow.

Connecticut state police say their investigation found they cheated at both casinos. The men were charged Tuesday with new crimes including fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit cheating.

Both men were released on bond. Neither could be reached for comment. Arraignment is scheduled for Nov. 7.
