Two Shot at Norwalk Public Housing Complex

Two people were shot at a public housing complex in Norwalk late Thursday evening.

Norwalk police received several 911 calls reporting a shooting at the Washington Village Housing Complex at 9:35 p.m. in South Norwalk on Thursday.

One person had been shot in the arm and another was shot in the abdomen and leg, police said.

Officers who responded to the housing complex on the Raymond Street side, provided medical aid. 

EMS crews treated both victims at the scene, then transported them to Norwalk Hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.

Norwalk detectives are overseeing the investigation and continued to search the area overnight.
