A Threat and Suspicious Person Lock-Down Two Schools

A threat and a suspicious person sighting have caused lock-downs at two Connecticut schools Friday.

Seymour High School is in lock-down after school officials received a threat and Hillcrest Jr. High School in Trumbull was locked down after a student reported a suspicious person walking past the building.

Officials from the Seymour Board of Education said there was no credible threat, but are investigating.
 
A student at Trumbull's Hillcrest Jr. High School reported a suspicious person walking past the building near the classroom around 7:30 a.m. and the school was locked down as a precaution. Police were sent to the school and an officer will remain there for the rest of the day.

No suspicious person has been found.
