Two swimming areas remain closed today because of water quality, while four have reopened.
Indian Well State Park in Shelton and Mashamoquet Brook State Park in Pomfret remain closed on Thursday.
Silver Sands, Gardner Lake, Wharton Brook and Kettletown have all reopened and all other swimming areas the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection tests are open.
