Two Teens Hurt in Cromwell Crash

Two men were taken to the hospital after the driver lost control of his car on New Lane in Cromwell just before 2 a.m. and hit a tree.

Carmine Seminaro, 26, was driving the car on New Lane and lost control, Seminaro’s friend Eric LaCore said.

The car went into the air, through a stop sign and struck a tree, police said.

Friends said Seminaro and a 22-year-old man who was also in the car are in stable condition at Hartford Hospital.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash but speed might have been, police said.

Seminaro will be charged with one count of reckless driving, police said.
