UConn Students Weigh In On Survey

One week after seven current and former UConn students filed a federal Title IX complaint, claiming the university did not do enough to respond to reports of sexual assault, UConn students get to weigh in on sexual violence, harassment and bullying on campus.

The President’s Task Force on Civility and Campus Culture sent an email to all UConn students on Monday asking them to participate in a survey about the school's response to those issues.

The Task Force was formed in August, and includes three student members. The group will present its recommendations to the president in December.

The university hopes the survey will help them develop strategies to deter violence and harassment.

UConn students have until November 22 to submit their feedback or suggestions.
