Come this Spring, the UConn Husky logo will look a little bit more intimidating.
According to The Daily Campus, the university newspaper, the school will be unveiling a new Husky logo that will appear less friendly and more intimidating than the grinning, tongue wagging face of the current Jonathan logo.
The Daily Campus reports that Mike Enright, Associate Director of Athletic Communications expects the change to be made later this spring in April or May.
Since the 1930s the Husky has been the official mascot of UConn. The current logo has been in use since 1996.
