U.S. Marshals Searching for Bridgeport Murder Suspect

The U.S. Marshals are searching for the suspect in the murder of Jeri Kollack at the Greene Homes housing complex in Bridgeport in October and they are asking for help to find 18-year-old Jahmari “Wack” Cooper.

Cooper is suspected in the fatal shooting, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. They said there are three warrants for his arrest for felony murder, murder and first- degree robbery.

Brian O’Neill, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal, said in a statement that Cooper should be considered armed and dangerous.

"Individuals should not attempt to arrest Cooper themselves,” he said.

Authorities contacted the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force in November for help to find Cooper. Officials believed he had left the area, but Bridgeport police and U.S. Marshals believe that he has returned to the area and is hiding out in the Bridgeport area.

Cooper is 5-feet-5 and weighs 130 pounds.

The U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a cash award of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of Cooper.
