Warming Centers Open During Cold Temperatures, Power Outages

Multiple warming centers are open during Monday's cold temperatures and while thousands of residents are still without power after this weekend's storm.

Some of the towns with open warming centers include Bethany, Bloomfield, Bristol, Cheshire, East Hartford, Enfield, Forestville, Greenwich, Hamden, Hartford, Middletown, North Haven, New Haven, Prospect, Seymour, Shelton, Southington, Stamford, Storrs, Stratford, Torrington, Winchester and Winsted.

More than 10,000 people are still without power on Monday after this weekend's storm. Towns including Bethany, Hamden, North Haven, Seymour and Woodbridge appear to have the most outages.

Temperatures on Monday are expected to be near zero along the shoreline and sub-zero for interior Connecticut with feels-like temperatures reaching 30 degrees below zero in some parts of the state.
