Water service has been shut off to 12 homes in Middletown while crews respond to a water main break on Congdon Street, according to Guy Russo, of Middletown Water & Sewer.
The break was reported late Thursday afternoon. Russo said service should be restored by Friday morning.
Police described the break as minor and said no road closures are in effect.
