The Silver Alert has been canceled for an 80-year-old Italian man reported missing during a visit to Watertown.
Watertown police and firefighters were actively searching for Giuseppe Pilla Sunday after he was reported missing from the Neil Drive area. Pilla left a Watertown home around 7 p.m. on Saturday and never returned, according to police. Pilla is visiting from Italy and speaks little English.
Police confirmed that he was located and is safe.
