West Haven police are investigating after a liquor store was robbed at gunpoint on Friday.
According to police, two black men walked into the Wine Press liquor store at 191 Campbell Avenue around 7:30 p.m. One had a handgun and the other had a shotgun, police said.
The robbers demanded money and fled on William Street with an unknown amount of cash. Police said the suspects likely got away in a red Ford Explorer Sport pick-up truck.
