5 Milford teens are under arrest after vandalizing at least 20 cars in West Haven Sunday morning, police said.
Police started receiving complaints of vehicles vandalized and broken into around 1:00 a.m in the area of Jones Hill Road, on the Milford town line. Witnesses reported seeing a white vehicle in the area at the time of the break-ins.
Around 1:40 a.m. police stopped a vehicle matching that description, and arrested the five teens ranging in age from 16 to19. Their names and charges are not yet available.
Police say car vandalism complaints are still coming in, and others have been reported in the Milford, although it's not clear if the teens arrested are responsible for those. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
