West Haven police have increased their presence in the area of Ocean Avenue and South Street after several reports of people throwing rocks at passing cars.
The vandalism has caused damage to several cars and put drivers and passengers at risk, police said.
Police are conducting special details to end the vandalism and are asking for the public’s help.
