Weston Couple Charged in Spree of Break-Ins

A Weston couple is accused of breaking into storage facilities in Weston and Bridgeport and police said they are suspects in the theft of hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of goods in burglaries across southwestern Connecticut.

Police told the Connecticut Post that Kathleen Falcone, 33, and Joshua Bammen, 38, were spotted on surveillance video after a pair of break-ins at the U-Haul Moving and Storage in Bridgeport.

Police said the couple also are suspects in break-ins Fairfield, Easton, Westport, Redding, Wilton and Weston.

The items taken in Bridgeport included eight guns, three Japanese swords, and numerous antiques.

The couple faces charges of larceny, burglary and criminal mischief after their arrests earlier this week.

Balcone and Bammen each are being held on $300,000 bonds.
