Several employees of a Wethersfield nursing home are losing their jobs.
The Wethersfield Health Care Center has notified the state Department of Labor that it will cut 69 jobs.
In October, the company applied to the state close the 210-bed facility and said it was under 88 percent capacity.
The Hartford Courant reports that the state denied the request to close the center this month.
