Woman Charged With Armed Robbery at Luv Express

Vernon police arrested a 20-year-old local woman accused of committing an armed robbery at Luv Express, an adult shop at 65 Windsor Ave., on Monday night.

Police said Angela Jordan, 20, of West Street, was wearing a mask and holding a knife when she demanded money from the clerk.

Jordan fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

An East Hartford Police K9 team was called to assist and found Jordan at her home.

As police were taking her into custody, they found 43 bags of heroin, according to a news release from police.

Jordan was charged with robbery in the first degree, larceny in the second degree, possession of narcotics and carrying a dangerous weapon.

She is being held on a $100,000 surety bond and will be presented in Rockville Superior Court on Tuesday.

This is the second armed robbery at Luv Express in a month.

A man robbed the store at gunpoint on Saturday, Dec. 29, according to the Vernon Patch.
