Groton Town police are searching for a suspect who reportedly grabbed a female victim while she was walking on a trail Saturday.
Police say the incident was reported around 8:24 a.m. The victim says she was walking on a wooded trail near Arrowood Drive when a male wearing a dark blue t-shirt and dark blue shorts approached her. According to the victim, the suspect jogged up to her and grabbed her, at which point she pulled away screaming. The suspect then fled the area.
The suspect is described as being in his early to mid 20’s with light brown hair in a military style cut, approximately 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11, between 150 and 170 pounds.
