Woman Left Gun in Red Robin Bathroom: Cops

Milford police have charged a Bridgeport woman accused of leaving her handgun in the bathroom of a Red Robin on Saturday evening.

Police said Linda Hawkins, 56, left her handgun in the bathroom at the Red Robin in Westfield Connecticut Post Mall just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

An employee had found it inside a restroom and immediately reported it, police said.

Police took the firearm and later contacted Hawkins, the registered owner.

She was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, released on a promise to appear and is due in court on March 25.
