Police Identify Woman Found Dead in Enfield Friday

Police from several departments are investigating the death of a 62-year-old woman who was reported missing from the Windsor Court public housing complex in Enfield on Thursday.

Police have identified the woman as Pamela Cote, of Enfield, said Police Chief Carl Sferrazza.

Police said cadaver dogs found the woman's body around 11:15 a.m. Friday in the wooded area behind Windsor Court.

Police are trying to determine whether there is any foul play, but said residents should not be concerned.

"At this point, we haven't determined whether or not there is any foul play," Sferrazza said.

State police said state troopers and the major crime squad are assisting state police with the investigation.

The medical examiner has been called. Police hope to have the results of the autopsy by Monday.
