Berlin police are searching for the woman who has been using bad checks at Ocean State Job Lot stores in Berlin, Windsor, Bloomfield and New Britain.
According to police, most of the checks have been associated with TD Bank. Police have not released any information on the value of the checks.
The suspect is described as a woman in her 30s with missing teeth. She weighs about 200 pounds and has used the name Betsey Moore and other fictitious aliases, according to police.
