This has been a difficult year for many families across Connecticut, so more people could benefit from your generosity this holiday season.
There are several opportunities to donate toys for needy children.
At NBC Connecticut, we are holding our annual Joy of Sharing Toy Drive to benefit the United Way and Toys For Tots on Saturday, Dec. 12.
It starts at 9 a.m. and goes until noon at the NBC Connecticut studio at 1422 New Britain Ave. in West Hartford.
Drop off a new, unwrapped toy for kids in need and meet the NBC Connecticut news team!
Lux Bond & Green is accepting new unwrapped toys until Dec. 11. You can drop them off at three locations in Connecticut.
One is 46 LaSalle Road in West Hartford Center.
You can also donate toys at the Somerset Square store at 140 Glastonbury Blvd. in Glastonbury and The Promenade Shops At Evergreen Walk at 243 Evergreen Way in South Windsor.
