The UConn women's amazing basketball season is over but there is one more chance to celebrate. Head on into Hartford Sunday for the UConn Huskies Victory parade.
The University of Connecticut women's basketball team ended a perfect 39-0 season with a sixth NCAA Championship. Gov. M. Jodi Rell invites fans throughout the state to come to Hartford and congratulate the players in person Sunday, April 19 at 3 p.m. near Bushnell Park, Main Street and Capitol Avenue areas of Hartford.

"Husky fans rightly want to continue the state's wonderful tradition of giving these young women and their coaches the recognition and admiration they truly deserve. A parade in downtown Hartford is just one way to do just that,” Rell said.
The UConn parade planning committee said the parade will begin and end at the State Capitol.
Some bus routes will be affected by the parade.
