Airport Authority Discusses Casino Plan, But Didn't Vote

A proposal for a casino near Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks was one of several items on the agenda for the Connecticut Airport Authority board meeting on Monday afternoon, but no vote was taken.

The agenda included a negotiating strategy for potential development of a casino during executive session and no action was taken before the meeting adjourned.

Officials from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos have received proposals from several towns willing to host a potentially $300 million facility that would house slots, table games, restaurants and bars and the Connecticut Airport Authority is interested in having a casino at Bradley Airport.
