All five public schools in Bethel were on lockdown as police searched for a man in the woods.
The lockdown was issued around 12:30 p.m. as a precaution.
The schools are all on the same property.
Police located the man, whom they called "distressed," around 1:45 p.m.
Students at the five schools were safe at all times, according to school officials.
