Amtrak Service Resumes Wednesday

Amtrak says limited service will resume Wednesday between Boston and New York as storm conditions ease.

The railway said Tuesday it will resume operation of Acela Express and Northeast Regional trains on a modified schedule with reduced frequency between New York and Boston. It said a full schedule of trains will operate between New York and Washington.

Trains also will run on a modified schedule between New Haven, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts.

Normal service will resume between Albany and New York City; St. Albans, Vermont, and Washington; Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and New York; Chicago and New York/Boston.

Amtrak said service from Brunswick, Maine, to Boston will run normally unless otherwise announced.
