Vernon police have identified the people they say vandalized three schools and officers hope to make arrests soon.
Vandals hit Northeast School on East Street, Maple Street School and Skinner Road School late Sunday night and early Monday morning, police said.
They broke windows, spray painted buildings and strung toilet paper in the hallways, police said.
Neighbors said they saw two people running through their yards shortly after the incidents.
