The Connecticut Art Trail Art Passport is expanding and art lovers can visit 20 museums within one year for the $25 cost of the passport. The CT Art Trail has also partnered with the Connecticut Brewers Guild to enhance the experience of those traveling the Art Trail.
The Connecticut Art Trail includes several museums and historic sites across the state and the two new affiliate members are The Glass House and Silvermine Arts Center, which are both in New Canaan.
What started as in 1995 as the CT Impressionist Art Trail in 1995 has grown to include 20 museums, more than 500,000 works of art within permanent collections and 250 scenic miles.
The 2019 Art Passport offers members free admission to museums along the trail, discounts and free gifts. You can buy one of these passports at most member museums or online.
The Art Passport includes one-day admission to each of the member museums per year. Call or visit museums’ websites before visiting; because seasonal hours and exhibitions vary.
