New Haven police are investigating an attempted robbery at a TD Bank on Foxon Boulevard Friday.
Officers were called to the location at 466 Foxon Boulevard at 10:49 a.m.
No one was harmed during the attempted robbery.
New Haven police described the suspect as a stocky man. He was dressed in a lime-green reflective vest over a white or cream-colored jacket, blue jeans with paint stains, a yellow hard-hat, and work boots.
The suspect had a goatee and wore glasses.
No weapon was shown, but the robber gestured as if he had one on hand, according to police.
The suspect fled without any money and was last seen walking near Walmart.
