A bicyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a pickup in Westport Saturday morning.
Police said the accident happened on Roseville Road near the McDonald’s entrance. The cyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the pickup was not hurt and is cooperating with police.
The Westport Police Accident Reconstruction Team was called in.
Roseville Road is closed between Colony Road and Post Road East while police investigate.
