We’d like to share some news about NBC Connecticut meteorologist Bob Maxon.
Bob suffered a minor heart attack Tuesday morning while he was at work. Bob said that at the time he didn’t realize what it was, only that he felt ill. It wasn’t until he went to urgent care to get treatment for what he thought were flu symptoms that he realized what happened.
The good news is that he thought to get it checked out and is on the road to recovery. He spoke with NBC Connecticut viewers via a phone call Monday and said he hopes to be back soon.
Bob encourages everyone to educate themselves on the possible signs of a heart attack.
