Road Rage Incident in Bridgeport Leads to Shooting Death

Police believe a road rage incident led to a man's shooting death in Bridgeport  on Sunday afternoon.

Neither the shooter, nor the victim, were involved in the original incident, police told the Connecticut Post.

After the original incident on Sunday afternoon, one of the drivers followed the second to a party on Priscilla Street, then left and brought another man, Jeffrey Parlemon, back with him, police told the Post.

Parlemon started to go into the party wearing a mask and someone shot him, thinking he had a gun, police said. Parlemon died at the hospital.

Police tell the Post, that the second driver was not the shooter. They have not identified the shooter, or the drivers involved in the original road rage incident.

Police said this might be a case of self-defense. Their investigation is continuing.
