A 19-year-old was arrested on Tuesday following an investigation to a shooting in Bridgeport earlier in th day, city spokesman Av Harris said.
Jacai Dicks has been charged for criminal attempted murder.
Bridgeport police responded to a shooting at Maplewood Avenue and Poplar Street just after 2 p.m., Harris said.
Police found a 21-year-old male victim shot in the neck and he is expected to live, Bridgeport Police said.
His condition was not immediately available.
