Bristol Police Seek Suspect in Attempted Robbery at ATM

Bristol police are investigating an attempted robbery at an ATM Sunday afternoon.

The victim reported that she was sitting in her car at the Webster Bank at 150 Main Street after making a cash withdrawal when a man approached her. She told police that the man opened her car door and tried to get into the vehicle, but she drove off. It happened around 12:21 p.m.

The victim as not hurt.

The suspect is described as male with a medium build, about 5-foot-10. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a scarf covering his face. The victim reported he was holding something in his hand during the incident, but could not say what it was.
