Brother Dies While Performing CPR on Sibling

A Connecticut family is grieving the loss of two brothers who died Tuesday. One died while performing CPR on his unconscious sibling.

Bob Gilman, a 66-year-old homebuilder and construction company owner, found Dan Gilman, 53, unconscious and tried to resuscitate him. They both died in Bob Gilman's Bozrah home.

Dan Gilman, of Norwich, was a veteran lobbyist at the Connecticut state Capitol. For the past three years, he worked as a consultant to The Kowalksi Group in Hartford. Earlier in his career, he worked for U.S. Sen. Christopher Dodd and former U.S. Rep. Sam Gejdenson.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner says both men died of heart-related problems.
