Police are investigating after burglars slipped through unlocked windows overnight in Ansonia.
The perpetrator, a man, targeted three homes on Reservoir Drive and Pin Oak Lane between 3 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.
Police said the burglar snuck inside two of the homes but were met with locked windows during a third attempt. A resident scared away the intruder during one of the burglaries on Reservoir Drive.
Ansonia police believe the burglaries are all connected. They said it appears the perpetrator did not take anything.
Authorities are working to identify a suspect and are reminding residents to lock downstairs windows.
