Simsbury Police have seized between 300 and 500 marijuana plants, Chief Peter Ingvertsen said.
It's the largest marijuana bust in Simsbury's history and one of the largest in state history, he said.
After a three-week investigation, Simsbury detectives and the Statewide Narcotics Task Force arrested Andrew John Bunda, 49, on Friday without incident.
Police said his home had so much dangerous mold from growing the marijuana that it's dangerous for anyone to go inside without special equipment.
