No one was hurt when a car crashed into a river in Vernon Friday.
The car crashed into the Hockanum River near the intersection of Union Street and Windsor Avenue around 2 p.m. The driver was not hurt and no other vehicles were involved police said.
The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was notified.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
