A car slid into a lake in Hamden on Tuesday amid snowy conditions.
Hamden Fire Department said a black Volkswagen Jetta slid off Waite Street and into the lake.
One man was in the car but no injuries were reported.
Fire officials asked drivers to avoid the area while Waite Street is closed.
