A cat is recovering after being shot through the face by an arrow in Griswold late last month.
The cat named Coffee struggled to approach its owner, Annmarie Jenkins of Griswold, in late October because he was tripping over the arrow.
The arrow went through Coffee's cheek, out his chin and pushed some of his teeth loose.
He's expected to heal in about a month, but is already showing signs of a quick recovery.
Jenkins said the injury wasn't life-threatening, but was painful. She said he didn't understand what was happening.
This is not the only case of a cat being shot with an arrow in a town in Eastern Connecticut.
Earlier this week, a cat named Elliott was shot with an arrow in Norwich. The cat has been recovering at All Friends Animal Hospital.
