Officials are investigating the cause of a fire at a hotel in East Windsor on Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to the Rodeway Inn & Suites on Bridge Street shortly before 7 a.m. after getting a report of a fire on the roof.
The fire created what fire officials called hazardous smoke conditions throughout the hotel and everyone inside was evacuated by the time firefighters arrived.
When crews arrived, fire officials said they quickly extinguished a fire that was isolated to a corner of the roof.
Firefighters from Broad Brook, Windsor Locks and Enfield assisted on scene.
Eversource was called to check out the hotel. Firefighters said this is protocol whenever there is a building fire.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
