Celeb Boxing Brings Lindsay Lohan's Dad to Enfield

Sam Ronson isn't the only one who wants to punch Lindsay Lohan’s dad.

Hollywood bad boy dad Michael Lohan will face Todd Poulton, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, in a celebrity-boxing event on Saturday March 6 at 8:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in Enfield.

Poulton has previously fought former Red Sox slugger Jose Cansenco, and is best known for his controversy involving the halting of his 2007 debut after the state Boxing Commission’s decision to ban any boxer from making a pro-debut after the age of 36, according to Masslive.com.

The event, held by the Celebrity Boxing Federation, will feature six fights other than Lohan’s, including reality star Dave Amerman (a.k.a. 12-Pack from “Daisy Of Love”, “I Love Money” and “I Love New York”) vs. Bob Meloni and Massachusetts politicians Robert Mancini (West Springfield Council Democrat) vs. Kevin Dejoinville (Republican from Agawam).

The Celebrity Boxing Federation features “entertainment boxing” and has previously featured Danny Bonaduce, Tonya Harding and John Wayne Bobbitt.

“We’re trying to build the WWE of boxing,” Celebrity Boxing president Damon Feldman said.

The company is based in Phildelphia and Enfield will be the first match on their new tour.

Tickets for the event will be available at the door, or by calling 484-318-6133. General tickets are $30, and ringside tickets are $50.
