Coins Worth Thousands of Dollars Placed in Salvation Army Kettle in Bristol

Three gold coins worth thousands of dollars were left in a Salvation Army kettle in Bristol.

Officials from The Salvation Army of Bristol said someone put three gold coins into a kettle at Price Chopper on Farmington Avenue in Bristol on Wednesday before Thanksgiving and they were found on Friday, Nov. 29.

The estimated value of the coins is between $1,350 and $1,500 for each, according to the Salvation Army.
