A New Britain man has been charged with attempting to sell crack in a Pep Boys parking lot.
Police got a tip about possible drug deals being arranged in the parking lot of Pep Boys on Silver Lane in Manchester Thursday. They set up surveillance around 5:30 p.m. and arrested Jerome Weatherspoon, 36, shortly after he arrived.
Weatherspoon has a long criminal record, including drug sales, according to police.
He was charged with possession of cocaine and sale of cocaine. Weatherspoon was held on $10,000 bond.
