If you think Facebook can’t get you in any real trouble, let a Middletown couple be your lesson.
DeAngelo Anthony, 25, and his girlfriend were arrested after a fight that started with some sleepy children led to a fight about alleged indiscretions that started online and ended in the Highland Avenue home, the Middletown Press reports.
Anthony was perturbed that the couple’s kids were still awake when he came home from work at 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 20 and Shallesa Banks, 22, said she’d been on Facebook, the newspaper reports.
Well, then things got worse. Banks allegedly said she used Facebook to meet men and took them to the home while Anthony was working, the newspaper reports.
From there, the fight went from verbal to physical, the Press reports. The children were not hurt, but the couple was charged with disorderly conduct.
The Department of Children and Families were notified of the incident, police said. A court date is set for February.
