Route 109/Thomaston Road is closed at Pitch Road in Morris following a crash that seriously injured multiple people, police and fire officials said.
According to state police Trooper Kelly Grant, at least one person was seriously injured in the two-car collision.
The Morris and Thomaston fire departments responded to the scene, along with ambulance services from Morris, Bethlehem and Litchfield, dispatchers said.
State police said the accident was reported around 8:30 p.m. Friday.
